This weeks IF was contagious and with the Swine Flu pandemic going on I decided to make a Swine Flu mask.

I always had loved the little toys that march around so that is what I used this week.

This is what i did for IF because in the book i am reading the rose stands for power and i liked that.

This week I did the Phantom of the Opera mask, but played with it to make it more feminine looking.

This weekend I took my friends sister to see the Hannah Montana Movie and it inspired me to use the horse running away.

This week's IF was Talisman.

IF Poise

When I saw the word this week it made me think about how parents never want what their kids do. To emphasize this I put a girl whose parents made her where her pretty dress when she just wanted to play soccer and get muddy.

Wordmark

This is the newest project in Graphic Design where we were to design our own font and style and use a word that we did not know the meaning to. I chose GRAPPLE and when looking at all the definitions I kept thinking of soccer so I incorporated that into each letter of the word. The first is the word just plain and the second is the word with an incorporation of the scribble tool.

IF Subtract

This is what I did for the IF Subtract this week. The word got me thinking about putting a black background with something light on top, which I used the newspaper for.

IF Legendary

This week's IF was legendary and over the weekend I watched "The Blair Witch Project" and these creepy symbols inspired me.

IF Intricate

For this weeks IF I drew two doves' shadows crossing past a brick wall. The word intricate got me thinking how a thing can have so much to them, but a shadow shows nothing.

Pen Tool Face

This is me!! True, but this is me working with the pen tool to try and accurately draw myself so that people can know who it is from the picture. I used different textures to create a collage that represents me.

IF Breeze

This weeks IF was Breeze so I drew a palm tree and then using pictures that I scanned I added to the color and added texture.

IF Instinct

This weeks IF was Instinct and I created a tiger using pen and fill!

This week's IF was celebrate and I created that with balloon bunnies!

IF Time

This week's IF was time. My artwork is showing a father giving the wisdom that he has learned over time to his son.

Music illustration

My favorite artist at the moment is Taylor Swift and her new cd, so using song lyrics from that I created this. It combines lyrics and stars which Taylor uses a lot.

Type Face

The title kind of says it all. This is me using only letters that are cut down and changed to create a face.

IF Flawed

This week's IF was flawed.
I drew a snowman in pen with a protractor and then put it one the computer and added the beach!

IF Climb

On Illustrationfriday.com for this week the topic was climbing. This was my first experience with the website and I was a little confused at what was expected, but I am not disappointed. I did not use the easiest technique, but I like all the color that I incorporated!

First Sketch - Abstract Notes

This is my first project in Graphic Design. We took notes on the Elements of Art and the Principles of Design, and then we ruined them by drawing over the notes. We were set to draw something that we should not be able to name and it should be abstract. I was very tired when I started to draw so I let my mind wander and drew what ever I felt at that moment.
